THE BRIEF
As part of Corona's broader winter programming, which included its Canadian Olympic Committee partnership and resort activations, Corona partnered with Whistler Blackcomb on an in-store giveaway for a pair of lift passes. I was asked to design a series of key visuals to promote the contest and drive entries at Berezan Liquor Store locations across BC. The challenge was to bring Corona, a brand known for sunshine and beaches, to the mountains. The visuals had to connect Corona's "This is Living" attitude with the adventurous Pacific Northwest lifestyle and tell customers quickly how to enter, all on a tight deadline.
THE APPROACH
I paired sweeping shots of Whistler's peaks with scenes of people lounging in Corona-branded chairs on the slopes, so the mountains carry the adventure and the relaxed figures carry the Corona spirit. I made "WIN" the focal point, using bold, textured type to create urgency, and set it in Corona's navy and gold with distressed textures so it blends into the snowy scenes while staying instantly recognizable. I developed three variations: a bottle-and-lime product hero, a lifestyle scene on the slopes and a golden-hour version with an "A winner at each location" badge. Each keeps the prize, deadline and partner logos clear.
THE RESULT
The campaign ran across BC from January 1 to February 28, 2026, with a flexible family of posters suited to in-store displays and large-format placements. The three versions share a consistent look while offering different angles on the prize, giving Berezan customers a clear, eye-catching reason to enter. The visuals also extended Corona's winter presence alongside its Olympic partnership, showing the brand in a new seasonal setting that stays true to its relaxed, aspirational identity.
